Jessamine County Coroner Michael Hughes has identified the victim who was fatally shot at the Bonded Links Club House in northern Nicholasville as 27-year-old Mark Boguszewski of Louisville.

The Nicholasville Police Department was dispatched to the Bonded Links Club House at 2:20 a.m. on Friday to investigate a reported shooting. Boguszewski was discovered by police in a nearby brush, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by Jessamine County Coroner. He was one of three male victims found to have been shot. The other two males were taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.

When officers arrived at the at the 196 Industry Parkway address, they saw over 30 people fleeing the scene of what had been a private party at the clubhouse.

Sgt. Scott Harvey of the Nicholasville Police Department told the Jessamine Journal that police originally estimated the size of the party to have been 50 to 100 persons, but they have lowered that estimate to closer to 50. Police were able to detain numerous individuals as they attempted to leave the premises after the shootings took place, but no suspects had been named and no motive determined in the investigation as of Wednesday afternoon.
