Jessamine Life magazine now available for readers!

Residents of Jessamine County now have a magazine all their own.

The staff of The Jessamine Journal is excited to announce that the premier issue of Jessamine Life has been released this week. The new, full-color spotlight on the people, places, sights and sounds of Jessamine County will be distributed quarterly to professional offices throughout the county. Anyone who wishes to be put on the subscription list can call 859-885-5381. Select subscribers will receive each issue of the publication by mail.

The debut issue of Jessamine Life examines the beginnings and ongoing popularity of Traci Hutcherson’s DIY internet blog, the ascension of Michelle Areaux’s dual career and journey as both elementary teacher and published novelist and exposes just what the fuss is all about over the servings at Sims’ Pizzeria and Ice Cream Parlor in Wilmore!

Have you set the goal of logging more time being immersed in good reads? Three of our Jessamine County Public Library librarians have you covered.

Have you been ‘On The Scene’ at an event in Jessamine County recently? Our cameras may have just picked you out in the crowd.

Plus, readers can check out health tips, try some new recipes and read the full story of local bastions of bologna and bluegrass, The Moron Brothers!

Check out the premier issue of Jessamine Life magazine, and celebrate who and what our county has to offer.
